I have 16 GB in mine and can configure the replay buffer up to 8192 MB for CQP mode, and with bitrate 4000 in CBR mode up to 21000 seconds (that's 11600 MB). So, in the end, there is nothing you can do here, except perhaps adding more physical memory to your computer. OBS doesn't let you choose replay time settings or buffer size settings the system (or OBS, doesn't know) doesn't support. It will depend on the type of footage in the buffer (low/high motion, low/high detail). But it's never clear how long that buffer will actually last because of the not constant bitrate. So you have to set a buffer size manually for CRF/CQP modes. If you set a quality-based encoding method for recording (CRF, CQP), you have to set a buffer size in Replay Buffer, because the bitrate is not constant, so no buffer size can be computed from the requested time alone. You can perform the reverse computation - you' re using CBR with bitrate 4000, don't you? It's constant bitrate, you know, so buffer size = bitrate * replay time. To find and access the Fortnite replay functionality, you should go to the Battle Royale menu, choose the Career tab, and then select the Replays option. ![]() ![]() So you can only use this Fortnite replay mode on your computer or game console to capture game playing. If you set a constant bitrate encoding method for recording (CBR), you get no option for memory buffer size in Replay Buffer, because from the time you set here and the bitrate you use, it is clear how much buffer is needed. But the Fortnite replay mode is not available on mobile phones for now.
